The second challenge set by Fiona during last month's cyberchallenge was to make a super adorable bag from a template available through the Stampin' Up! Australia demonstrators' website. Have a squizz at her very fresh and pretty version. I think the bag is awesome but it really needed some space to be more versatile. As it was, I could only imagine it being a bag to put tea bags in. I mean how much tea can a tea bag bag bag if a tea bag bag could bag tea??! In short, not much!
So, I adjusted the template a little to add some depth to the top flap and now it fits more tea to a 'T' ... or should that be fits to a 'T' more tea ... anyway ...
The top flap now also accommodates a teensy (possibly tea-nsy handle). I've found grosgrain ribbons work well but in this prototype I splurged on some pretteas ... um ... pretties! Isn't it a cu-tea? More like a cue for me to tee-off!

That is just too cute Lin Mei. LOVE that handle! Might have to try that one - if I can bring myself to use my beads, I'm a bit of a bead hoarder I think!
That's a tea-rrific little bag. Love the beau-tea-ful beads as well. I'm sure it wasn't too much of a (tea)strain(er) for you to make.
LOVE IT Lin Mei - thanks for the idea!!

Love the bag but love your writting more I have, believe it or not just read every single post ! youv'e missed your calling love you should write books!! But wait I love your cards and scrapbook pages too! It was great to meet you at convention it was a shame there wasn't time to sit and chat or go out for a cuppa.
Megan ps have you posted a pic of your convention swap I wasn't lucky enough to get one of yours
This is so gorgous! I Love the colours and tea-nsy pret-tea handle ... How many Tea bags can your Tea Bag hold?
Your tea bag is tea-mendous! (sorry!!)
Hey Sue! I'm working on my hoarding tendency - sort of. I'm determined to use up a Pretties Kit before the end of this catalogue!
Hey Belle! That was very wit-tea! btw I promise it didn't take me a month to come up with that response *grin*
Hi Kylie! Thanks so much for letting me know you like it :)
Hello Megan! It was a privilege to meet you at Convention and I would have loved to have had a cuppa and a long chat with you. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog and you are most welcome here.
And a warm welcome to my blog Nerida! I've really appreciated your generous comments regarding my cards ... I've just had to break out of epic monk mode to respond and work out the answer to your question. I can fit in four Lipton teabags of the kind that has their own wrapper and five of the ones that come without. Unfortunately I don't have any Twinings handy!
Thanks so much, Caroline!
Thank you for sharing this idea it is gorgeous! Do you have a pattern/template for it??
