A friend of mine has been invited to a wedding so I offered to make her a wedding card. In designing a card, the first thing that came to mind was "Love". Then came the colour Red as it is the colour of love in the West and the auspicious colour in the East - perfect for a wedding. Since I love the elegance of Chinese characters I decided to use the soon-to-be retired Kanji set along with a Spellbinders Asian Sentiments die (as a stencil in this case) of the sinograph for love.

That looks lovely - red is auspicious as well as celebratory. And its beautifully put together. Some gold highlights would also go well, I think.
Oooh ! belle you've posted the blog's maiden comment - thank you ! I agree that gold would add something to it. I'll have to think about what to add.
I think it is great just the way it is! Love it!
A surprise visitor ! The warmest of welcomes to my blog, Joanna.
