What a tremendous INKling team weekend it was! My amazing upline Jayne did a magnificent job of organising the event, and on top of that, producing the loveliest papercraft treats for each and every one of us. Thank you so much, Jayne!
One of my favourite things about the weekend, apart from meeting lovely and talented INKlings, was the Card in a Box. This is where all the supplies to make a card are placed into a box. As 18 of us took part, I got to make 17 different and wonderful cards. Mine was made using a gorgeous wheel, very appropriately named It's Beautiful, that features in the new Spring Mini. To bring out the lovely flowers and swirls in the wheel, I used the Poppin' Pastels technique to add multiple colours to the image.

What a gorgeous 'Spring is in the air' card. Love the rows of piercing either side. (Did you roll your wheel on a Versamark pad or ink up a cartridge with versamark?? And while I'm on the questions - what do you use to pop your pastels on with? I usually use a cotton ball but that looks like a more elaborate design.) Your weekend sounded great. What a good idea. Hey Sue! I'm very sorry about the delay in replying - am finding it harder to stay online while I've been here. I've inked up the wheel using a VersaMark pad (dissuaded by reports of having to re-ink lots when using the cartridge even though I had bought a blank one for this very purpose!) I bought some tiny decorative pom poms held by a Pebbles Inc tool which is a clip on the end on a wooden handle. Since there were so many pom poms, I used one for each colour :)
